About
Daniel Bradford
I'm an independent audiobook producer and audio engineer. I work directly with authors and small publishers on the audio side of getting a book out into the world — editing, cleaning up, and mastering narration into a finished audiobook.
My focus is the technical and editorial work behind the recording: cutting a raw narration session down to a clean read, correcting levels and noise, pacing chapters consistently, and preparing files to the specification a distributor asks for.
I work on a project-by-project basis, which means the person you talk to during the consultation is the same person handling the file when it's finished.
How I Work
Direct, honest, and scoped to your book
Plain conversation first
Before any file changes hands, we talk through what your book needs and whether I'm a good fit for it.
Work matched to the book
A short story collection and a 12-hour novel need different plans — pricing and timeline are scoped per project, not templated.
You hear from me directly
No account managers relaying notes. Questions and revisions go straight to the person doing the work.
Next Step
Start with a conversation
Tell me about your book and where it stands. I'll let you know honestly what it would take.
